On November 9, the Gurney Service Learning Club visited their friends at Hamlet Village. They remembered veterans as they worked on the Wreaths Across America project. Stories were shared and connections were made. The students even met educational aide Mike Kramer’s father, who is a veteran. Several of the Gurney Service Learning Club students have family members who live at Hamlet, so it’s always such a gift to have this special time together.
