Chagrin Falls Middle School (CFMS) has recognized four exceptional students as February 2025's Students of the Month for their exemplary demonstration of the Tiger Techniques: Think, Integrity, Grit, Effort, and Responsibility. The seventh and eighth-grade teaching teams selected two male and two female students who received tiger water bottles from the PTO in recognition of their achievements.
Seventh graders Giavanna Marino and Dominic Giordano, along with eighth graders Claire Angle and Jeffrey Perry, were selected by their teaching teams for demonstrating outstanding character and leadership both inside and outside the classroom.
Giavanna Marino stands out as a helpful and kind student who excels academically while participating in activities like volleyball, Spanish Club, and orchestra. Teachers praise her for working diligently, assisting classmates with an approachable teaching style, and demonstrating precision in her Project Lead The Way coursework.
Dominic Giordano earned recognition as a role model in the school's newspaper club, where he serves as a skilled photographer who is "consistent, reliable, communicative and FUN." Beyond his journalistic talents, Dominic is noted for his positive attitude, organizational skills, thoughtful reading analysis, and exemplary sportsmanship as a member of the wrestling team.
Claire Angle was honored for her exceptional problem-solving abilities and friendly, calm demeanor. Teachers describe her as someone who "can work well with anyone" while consistently demonstrating politeness, responsibility, and self-advocacy. Her thoughtful collaboration in Project Lead The Way activities was also highlighted.
Jeffrey Perry rounds out the honorees with recognition for his model classroom behavior and problem-solving skills. Staff members appreciate his daily greetings and genuine conversations, as well as his willingness to share his passion for hobbies like his dice collection and Dungeons & Dragons. As with Dominic, Jeff's leadership on the wrestling team was specifically noted for his "dedication, work ethic, and sportsmanship."
